Our student ministery is titled Sanctus Students and during the week of Spring Break we have had over 40% of our group participate in missional activites. I am so proud of our students and their willingness to be used by God to impact Fort Bend County. On Monday we went to the Ft. Bend Crisis Pregnancy Center (CPC) to help them get their fund raiser bottles stuffed. In three hours our group was able to get 1600+ bottles stuffed and boxed for area churches to take and raise funds. Last year alone this fund raiser for CPC raised $30,000. The idea that our students participated in something that will be effect lives that they never will meet is a humbling experience and I am so thankful for the their willingness.
Wednesday from 10:30 am to 2:00 pm we had 6 students and Joe, come and wash cars at the Greatwood Chick-fil-A. The car wash was free to the public because the group was “showing God’s love in a practical way,” to the people in Ft. Bend County. After washing the cars people would try to make a donation but we would not take them but instead encouraged them to come join us for a great Easter service this coming Sunday. We gave out the “NO gimmicks” card for easter. Though the day was rather cool, the students did not complain but instead worked the whole time. At the end of the day we had about three families say they will visit us and we had many more very interested in a congregation who loves people. This project gave us an opportunity to give a brief explanation of the Gospel. The project was a success because the students were able to discuss the grace of God and demonstrate it to a public that may have never experienced such an event.
Tomorrow we will be going to Star of Hope with our senior high. Please be in prayer as we go and serve to a community of people many of our students may never be in contact with on a regular basis. I am excited to see what God has in store for the group.
I look forward to a great Resurrection Sunday!

Passion week – Authority
When going through the passion week schedule today is the longest day of Jesus ministry recorded. He established his authority with the Jewish people and leaders. This is the day they try to trick him about paying taxes, and other questions that were designed to trap Jesus. At the end of the day Jesus was able to establish his authority with the disciples. Is Christ the ultimate authority in your life?
