I don’t know about you, but I’m glad yesterday has come and gone.

I am so thankful that the elections are over too! Watching the news, having debates, and hearing people’s comments were wearing me out too. My prayer is that in future elections, my mind will be more consumed with God than in those running for president. I also ask God, that as the children of Christ, He would give us the grace to look at the immorality on both parties. The reason I ask God to allow us to see the immorality on both sides, is because most evangelical Christians have given themselves to a political party and I ask God is this really your desire? I know that we have examined the immorality on the democratic side, but have we on the Republican side? I know that if our motive in voting for the person we voted for was righteous than that is good, but I hope that as the body of Christ we would place our trust in God’s sovereignty for what he has willed, and like John Piper said that we would be more involved in the work of the Kingdom of God. I am thankful for the turnout of the elections, but I pray that God would lead our leaders. Thanks for this blog pastor Joe!
