At Christmas, It's Whoever Gives the Most That Wins, right?

Happy Birthday Santa. Doesn’t that sound good for CHRISTmas? What do we do that revels it’s not Santa’s birthday but Christ’s? What do we do that clouds, distorts, underminds, or diminishes who’s birthday we celebrate? Didn’t the Israelites get in trouble for messing up celebrations and to whom they were to being devoted to?? Do you spend ton’s of money on things we don’t need to celebrate Santa or Christ?

  1. You know, I was thinking that actually, whoever does give the most on Christmas wins. So does whomever gets the most. You see, the greatest gift ever given was the gift of the only begotten Son of God (many will be sons of God, but only one was begotten that way) and in that Gift, He wins. And everyone who has received the exousian to become His child (except John Calvin) has received the greatest gift and wins also.

By the way, Santa is real. St. Nicolas in the 12th century shared the gospel with children while giving them presents to celebrate the birth of Christ (who wasn’t born on Christmas, I know).
