Do Something…continues!

Officially, our Do Something emphasis was from September 12-October 17. But if you were paying any attention at all, you know that its about how you live all of the time everyday. And if you’ve been around The Sanctuary Fellowship very long you know that’s what we’re all about- living missionally, purposefully, impactfully, passionately for God’s name and Kingdom.

So, I thought it would be good to post a reminder regarding what we learned during Do Something that will inspire/remind/prod us to all get out and do something today!

1) We want our lives to matter, to make a difference.
2) God has a plan for our lives to do big things in his Kingdom for his glory.
3) I must prepare to live fully in what God has prepared for me.
4) God’s purpose for my life is that I would know and love him in a way that causes me to love others.
5) God has prepared all things for me to live a meaningful life, and that includes my pain; will I hear what he is saying in and about my pain? My pain doesn’t have to just hurt.
6) The things God has prepared for me are spiritual by definition and I can’t hope to accomplish them without his power. God’s power is his gift to give and I can only know it when I am emptied of myself.
7) My passion for God will enable me to live passionately in love for others and to do big things in his Kingdom.

Which one did you need today? What did you need to be reminded of? What did you commit to do during Do Something that you haven’t done yet?

Still looking for something to do? Go to our website at thesanctuaryfellowship.com and you’ll find a list of things/local mission opps that you can participate in starting now.

Answer God’s call, find meaning in this life, live passionately for God and for others, transform your pain into power for life, pursue God, but above all…

DO SOMETHING!

Together, at The Sanctuary Fellowship and with the Church, we will be the salt and light of the world that causes them to see our good works and glorify our Father in heaven.

I love you all and I’ll see you Sunday for great worship at The Sanctuary Fellowship!
