Uganda Mission Trip 2011
Date: July 1st-11th 2011
Duration: 11 Days
Team Size: 11 People
Description: This Summer, the Sanctuary Fellowship will be taking a small group to Njeru, Uganda to continue the partnership we currently have with Pastor Henry Ssevviiri. This team will travel to Uganda and participate in relational evangelism, Bible storying, Bible distribution, discipleship meetings, construction projects to repair a school, and possibly a leadership conference to help train and equip the Ugandans for ministry to their family and neighbors. The connections that Pastor Henry has already made will serve as a spring board to perpetuate ongoing discipleship and evangelism throughout Uganda.
Long term, the vision is to establish community transformation in villages all over Uganda. Practically, this includes establishing a Christ-Centered church, clean water, health care, vocational training, education for the children, and a feeding center to ensure children get at least one good meal per day. This trip will be geared towards supporting this long-term goal and assisting Pastor Henry to see God’s plan realized.
