Liz Brown

Liz Brown, Ministry Coordinator

Liz was born and raised in Dallas, TX.  Liz was not raised in the church but started attending in early high school. She was active in the youth group at South Garland Baptist Church where she learned to be a follower of Christ, as well as how to be an active member of ones community and serving the local church.

After high school she attended The University of North Texas for two years and was called to Houston where she transferred to Houston Baptist University and graduated in 2008. Liz double majored in Sociology & Public Policy. After joining The Sanctuary in the spring of 2008, Liz spent some time volunteering with different ministries. One of which was helping in the church office with administrative work. After many days of endless servitude the pastors decided to offer her a job.

Liz is an avid reader and enjoys anything from Paulo Coelho to Twilight to Kurt Vonnegut. Liz has a heart for kids and looks forward to having a family of her own one day. More than anything in life she wants to serve in any capacity she can.
